These days....

Well, this has to be quick, but I wanted to update our blog seeing as how it has been awhile. I've got a busy few weeks....my Yard Sale on Sat, School Open houses, a quilt to finish, a couple of Christmas projects to continue/finish (Yes! I'm actually planning that far ahead for presents! Wohoo!) Primary Activity to help plan/execute, piano lessons to teach, piano recital to put together.....etc, etc. It's all good though...it keeps the days moving at a good pace.

And a note about Keith....we took him to an allergist a few weeks ago and verified that the poor guy is allergic to peanuts....AND eggs! Hm. The eggs is something most kids grow out of, but the peanuts he only has a 25% chance of growing out of it. So, we'll see. As for now, there is to be no form of peanuts or eggs for Keith. There hasn't been peanuts or peanut butter in our house for almost a year now, but the eggs (being a more mild allergen) are still around. We just don't give them to Keith. There are worse things...I'm so glad he wasn't allergic to like, the sun or something. :) Anywho, I've got my epipen and stock of Benadryl and we're handling it. It's more scary when he'll be out of our element, but we'll take it one day at a time.

He's such a good kid....lately he's taken to "singing" along with us at church. He holds the hymnal open on his legs and "sings" as loud as he can. It's hilarious and we struggle between shushing him and letting him sing out. We don't want to be irreverent, but we also don't want to curb his form of worship. :) He's also talking like crazy now and amazed me with all he can say. I'd have to say one of my favorite things is observing how Keith spends his day...most of it is walking around the house, doing something of interest in whatever room he's in, then walking around some more. He's always wandering. doing. It's like he has a "to do" list. He's a cutie.

that is so great that things worked out for sammi to get into the right school! zac is allergic to peanuts too! we have to carry the epipen everywhere also. kennedi was allergic to eggs, but she doesn't like eggs anyway, so it works.
