Maddi's Haircut

Maddi was looking a bit too scraggly and I decided that with her hair texture and what-not, she needed to go short. A lady in my mom's ward cuts hair for a VERY good price and so, we did it! It looks ADORABLE (as you can see in the BEFORE and AFTER pics).

Cute Apron!

My mother-in-law made me this apron for my birthday! It's sooo cute....almost too cute to wear! But I do. :) Thank you Cynthia! (and for the cupcake holders too!)

My Birthday

Birthday Eve: Shopping with Matt...BIG SURPRISE, i.e. stay at Bed and Breakfast straight from an Anne of Green Gables novel, delicious steak dinner, a night out, wonderful babysitting sister. Birthday: Yummy breakfast, happy kids welcoming, chocolate, mom and family over for food and presents...new clothes, new sewing machine, new pizza lifter, WICKED piano book, Cold Stone ice cream cake, cute spice holder, (complete with spice), a decorated and designed entryway coming forthwith, and topped off with a strawberry pie (or two). In a word, I was SPOILED! Thank you honey for making my day a great one! (I'd like to thank my mom as well, for without her, I would not be here. Literally. Thanks Mom. Love, your Loin Fruit.)

Memorial Day 2009

We had a nice, laid back holiday this year. Matt took the kids fishing while I got Eli fed and napped. WE then took all of them to the pool, after which, we had a potluck dinner with Matt's family. The weather was perfect and it was so nice to just sit back and enjoy.
